Ubisoft shared their financial report for the first half of the fiscal year 2018. According to the reports, the results are marvelous, most of the online games Ubisoft has turned out to be a huge success for them.
Especially Assassin’s Creed Origins appeared to have most of the sales from Ubisoft this year. The break, which Ubisoft took for the series back in 2015 is the most precious step for the success of the Origins.
Origins have already surpassed the sales of its predecessor Syndicate in its first 10 ten days by a big (double) margin.
Ubisoft said that the 35 % of sales were Digital, while the Syndicate had only 15%. AC Syndicate sold 5.5 million copies and AC 3 had sold 13 million copies which is the highest in the series. As there are only 10 days from release, So there are huge chances that the Origins could be the most selling title ever.
Even Ubisoft’s famous Far Cry 5 and Crew 2 release is also just 3 months away, last one year for the company could be the best by far.
South Park: The Fractured but whole sales were 50 percent digital and its continuously selling by maintaining a good pace. Not only digital downloads, but the microtransactions and DLC are even getting sold more than the digital for the first time.
